Our Story

It Started With Closed Gates

For years, Florida riders have watched the map shrink. Trails close. Tracks get sold. Land that would be perfect to ride stays locked — not because owners don't want to open it, but because they're afraid of the liability if they do.

A group of riders, clubs, and industry folks looked at that and decided it wasn't good enough. So we built a coalition — riders and racers, dealers and promoters, landowners and manufacturers — around one simple goal: more places to ride, legally, for everyone.

Let's Ride Project is that coalition. We're not here to sell you anything. We're here to change the law that keeps good land closed, and to protect the riding way of life for the people who come after us.

The best way to protect the land is to ride it right.

Bob Brewster

Legal and Strategic Advisor

Bob Brewster's story starts sweeping floors at a small shop in Fort Lauderdale as a kid, racing motocross in the 1970s. Life pulled him away from the sport for a while — marriage, kids — until his two sons caught the same bug and pulled him right back in. Since 1999, Bob has built WMR Competition Performance and Nihilo Concepts alongside his son Joe into two of Florida's respected names in the off-road world. As Legal and Strategic Advisor, he brings decades of hard-earned industry experience and a lifelong love of riding to help guide Let's Ride Project's strategy — because he's watched this sport shape his whole family and wants to make sure it's still there for the next one.

Joe Brewster

Industry Outreach Coordinator

Joe Brewster has been in the motorcycle industry since he was 15 years old — still in high school and already working the counter. Today he and his father, Bob, run WMR Competition Performance, a KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas dealership and race shop in Stuart, and Nihilo Concepts, their billet parts manufacturing company. Joe started racing motocross at age 8 and never really stopped — these days you'll find him on Florida's trails riding with his own kids. As Industry Outreach Coordinator, he's putting those decades of dealer and manufacturer relationships to work, building the coalition that will keep Florida's trails open for the next generation.

Brandon Bloomquist

Treasurer

Brandon Bloomquist is our Treasurer for the project, pairing with his role as Treasurer for Florida Trail Riders. His professional background is in corporate finance, where he has spend two decades creating capital, labor and expense forecasts for Fortune 500 companies and universities. On the riding side, he started riding ADVs in 2017, hard enduro in 2019, and racing in 2022. Brandon consistently competes in FTR’s Super Senior B class, aiming to place in the top 100 at each hare scramble.

Randy Rash

Industry Outreach Coordinator

Randy Rash is a lifelong off‑road racer and marine‑industry small business owner with more than 50 years of hands‑on experience in competition, event organization, and landowner relations. Since the mid‑1970s, he has raced Motocross, Hare Scrambles, GNCC, ISDE, and countless other events, later raising two sons from Pee Wee to the professional ranks.Randy has been an active member of Florida Trail Riders (FTR) since the 1980s, serving as a racer, club president, promoter, committee member, and most recently Hare Scramble Committee Chairman. His decades of leadership have given him deep expertise in securing land, coordinating with landowners, managing logistics, and bringing together all elements required for successful off‑road events.With a strong foundation as a marine‑industry business owner, Randy combines mechanical knowledge, professional communication, and long-term community involvement to build trust, strengthen partnerships, and support sustainable event development.
