FLORIDA — Florida riders are running out of room, and a new coalition has formed to do something about it.
Let's Ride Project, a Florida-based initiative uniting riders, clubs, race promoters, dealerships, landowners, tracks, and industry partners, has launched a statewide campaign to increase legal riding opportunities across the state. The goal: pass legislation during the 2027 Florida Legislative Session that provides reasonable liability protections for landowners who allow organized off-road motorcycle recreation on their property.
The Problem: Every Locked Gate Is One Less Place to Ride
For years, the map has been shrinking. Tracks close and aren't replaced. Clubs and events struggle to find ground. And thousands of acres of land that would be perfect for organized riding stay locked — not because owners don't want to open their gates, but because they're afraid of the liability if they do.
The cost lands on everyone. Riders leave the sport. Families lose places to ride together. Dealers sell fewer motorcycles. Events disappear, and with them the tourism and local economic activity they bring.
The Solution: One Bill, More Open Land
